Here's how to open the NVIDIA Control Panel:
Right-Click on the Desktop: The most common method is to right-click anywhere on your desktop. You should see "NVIDIA Control Panel" in the context menu. Click it to open the panel.
System Tray: Check your system tray (usually located in the lower-right corner of your screen, near the clock). There might be an NVIDIA icon there. Right-click on the icon and select "NVIDIA Control Panel". If the icon isn't visible, it might be hidden. Click the arrow to "Show hidden icons".
Search in the Start Menu: Type "NVIDIA Control Panel" into the Windows search bar (accessible by clicking the Windows icon or pressing the Windows key). It should appear in the search results.
Run Command: Press Win + R
to open the Run dialog box. Type control nvidia
and press Enter.
Via Settings App (Windows 10/11):
If you are having problems opening it, try the following:
Ensure NVIDIA drivers are installed: The Control Panel requires functional NVIDIA%20drivers. If you recently updated or reinstalled Windows, make sure you installed the correct drivers from the NVIDIA website.
Restart Your Computer: This can resolve temporary software glitches.
Reinstall NVIDIA drivers: Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) utility to completely remove the current driver, then download and install the latest driver from the NVIDIA website. This can fix corrupted driver installations.
